6th South East Europe Energy Dialogue: «Redefining SE Europe’s Energy Map» in Thessaloniki on 30 - 31 May, 2012

“Redefining SE Europe’s Energy Map” is the main theme which this year’s “South East Europe Energy Dialogue” will focus upon. The “Energy Dialogue”, which is convened by IENE for the 6th consecutive year, will take place in Thessaloniki on May, 30 and 31, 2012. IENE’s “South East Europe Energy Dialogue” will bring together more than 45 speakers and panellists, including professionals, academics and experts from the entire energy spectrum.
Senior executives from most major energy companies acting in the region will participate in this year’s Energy Dialogue. Gazprom-Εxport, Edison, EON, TAP, PFC Energy, the Iranian National Gas Export Company (NIGEC), JP Srbijagas of Serbia, Bulgartransgaz EAD of Bulgaria, Turkey’s T-Dinamik Energy Co., as well as several companies from the countries of the region, will be present at this international IENE event.
The energy sector of Greece will be represented by some of the most dynamic companies, including PPC Renewables S.A., Protergia S.A. and M & M Gas Co. S.A. of Mytilineos Group, Hellenic Petroleum, DEPA, Energean Oil & Gas and Vestas Hellas S.A.
Moreover, in the 6th SEEED, officials of regulatory authorities and electricity transmission operators, along with associations of energy professionals from the countries of SE Europe will have the opportunity to discuss the necessary changes and reforms that are already underway or are currently scheduled, so that SE Europe can rise up to the new challenges.
Senior executives from financial institutions (e.g. Hellenic Exchanges, Black Sea Development Bank, etc.) donor representatives as well as high ranking officials from the European Commission, the International Energy Agency, the Energy Community, the World Energy Council, and other international organizations will participate in this major IENE event that aims at exploring the rapidly changing energy scene of the region.
There will also be an official conference dinner with invited Speaker Mr. Alexandros Lykourezos, Principal of Lykourezos Law Offices, a widely respected lawyer in Greece and abroad.
