“LNG Journal”, the world’s leading LNG publication, organizes the LNG South East Europe Conference on “Supply Diversification, Trading and Operational Challenges for the Region”. The Conference takes place on Thursday 24thNovember 2011, in Athens, Greece (Metropolitan Hotel). The Institute of Energy for South East Europe (IENE) is the Media Partner of this important energy event.

This conference focuses on gas supply diversification challenges for the region at a time of rising LNG prices and global competition for LNG supplies between countries reliant on vulnerable pipeline gas.


Greece as an emerging hub for LNG in the SEE region hosts this year's conference, and our expert speakers will highlight strategic and operational challenges to securing the region's energy future; from the evolution of LNG as a secure fuel to meet the growing needs of SEE markets through to infrastructure and market development needs and challenges in LNG transportation and shipping.
